Prepare for your stay : what you need to know
Treehouses include
- 1 to 2 double beds and 2 to 4 singles (mattresses only, you must bring your own sleeping bag and pillow)
- Wood burning stove (1 bag of ecologs per night for heating is included mid-October to end of April only. Carbon offset wood is for sale on site. You can also bring ecologs) If you do not know how to use a slow-burning wood stove. > Please view this video
- Kitchenette with sink
- All necessary equipment for cooking (pots, pans, colander, utensils, percolating coffee maker) and serving meals (plates, utensils, glasses, cups, etc.)
- 2 burner propane stove for cooking (propane for sale at reception)
- Propane BBQ (except in winter) (propane for sale at reception)
- It is not necessary to buy or bring water. We have drinking water and 10L containers available at the reception-pavilion.
- 60L cooler
- For baggage transport, 1 small cart: and 1 large cart in summer OR 2 large toboggans in winter. In summer, you can also choose to transport your bags by renting a canoe. Contact us to get prices
- 1-2 ceiling lights (when connected to power pack battery, available for rent at reception, can also be used for cel phone charging)
- Outside: open campfire pit, picnic table, grey water disposal., dry toilets(outhouses) with toilet paper and disinfectant, showers and standard bathrooms are at the reception pavilion open 24h.
- Food and beverages: A small depanneur is located in the park, but is only open Thursday to Monday at time of publishing. Closest grocery store is 25 minutes from the site. It is best to arrive with groceries.

Available at Reception – Pavilion-reception
- Firewood (carbon offset) with kindling and newspaper for sale. Winter only: from mid-october when 5 degrees and below, 1 package of eco-logs provided per night
- Rental of canoe and snowshoes or micro-spikes
- WIFI : free access (3g cel signal)
- Bathrooms: toilets, baby changing table & showers (Open 24 hrs)
- Laundry facilities, washer and dryer by request
- Drinking water (a 10 litre drinking water container is provided)
- Ice (for sale)
- Baggage carts: To facilitate the transport of your baggage, wood and water: 2 carts (summer), 2 toboggans (winter) are provided
Optional Extras
As part of our commitment to SUSTAINABILITY, we charge for consumables as well as optional items to encourage responsible consumption. If you don’t buy them from us you will need to bring them FROM HOME. We include dozens of items for free, but there are 8 we will CHARGE EXTRA for if you need to get them from us; power pack, 1L propane, treehouse kit (see below), canoe, snowshoes, sleeping bag, and firewood in summertime (firewood from home must be commercially packaged, see below). Credit and debit only (no cash).

We assemble some helpful items in our treehouse kit. All items except battery power pack can also be brought from home.

We practice the principles common to wilderness refuges as well as Leave No Trace: Please leave it as you found it (clean-up and sweep/shovel) before leaving, cuts down on unnecessary cleaning services and keeps prices down.
You may purchase separately:
- Propane (green bottle 16 oz). Personal stoves are not permitted for security reasons.
